CITY OF CUSHING CURBSIDE CLEANUP
APRIL 25, 2026 - HAVE ITEMS AT CURB FRIDAY NIGHT, APRIL 24.
Another positive note, City staff will be manning the transfer station beginning Monday, April 20, 2026 – Friday, April 24, 2026. With a city utility bill (on your phone works, too!), you will be able to dispose of items that you need gone before the clean-up even begins!! Please consider this option during the week instead of waiting for Saturday to come. Hours for each day are listed below.
Mon - Tues: Noon - 4 PM
Wed - Thurs: 8 AM - Noon
Fri: 8 AM - 4 PM
The first Saturday of May we are planning on being open 8 AM – 4 PM to give our citizens a chance to dispose of things that were missed during the clean-up.
Please remember to keep your items confined to the listed parameters below on Saturday, April 25, 2026 for the curbside clean up.
- Group items in no larger than a 4' x 4' x 4' area on the curb
- All household trash must be bagged, bundled, or boxed (Except large bulky items) NOT TO EXCEED 150 LBS.
- Organic materials, including yard trimmings, are not to exceed 12 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length. These items need to be bagged, boxed, or tied in bundles.
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:
For safety of our customers and employees, Republic cannot collect the following items:
- Material that exceeds 150 lbs.
- Household hazardous material (toxic substances, paint, thinners)
- Construction & demolition debris
- Concrete
- Motor Vehicles, Auto Parts or Fluids
- Hot Ashes
- Animal Waste
- Poison Oak
- commercial refrigerators
- Loose items (Small items must be bagged, boxed or tied into bundles)
Hazardous waste is NOT accepted during scheduled clean-up's or during regular collection service. For more information on how to dispose of household hazardous waste, please visit: stopwaste.org.
