March M.A.D.ness - Annual CHS philanthropic fundraiser 

This year's M.A.D. fundraising effort will be in memory of Kyle Sams, one of our alumni, and one of his passions. We also have some major changes happening this year for our annual philanthropic fundraiser. 

First, we will be changing M.A.D. Week to a month-long endeavor instead of trying to fit several events into just one week. Hence, March MADness is born at CHS! 

As you may remember in the past, we have raised as much money as we can and given that money to an agency/individual that is in need or is making a major impact for others. To memorialize Kyle Sams, the selected recipient this year is the No Limits Neuromuscular Camp (Make Promises Happen) in Guthrie, OK. Kyle and his parents, (and many other wonderful volunteers in our community) have poured their hearts into this organization as summer camp counselors. 

Many events are coming up in March that we would love for you to be a part of. In particular, we are looking for restaurants to dedicate one day of the month to donate a portion of their sales to this Student Council project, as well as advertise on their social media to promote the event. If you would be willing to do this, please let me know which day of the month would be best for you. 

We are hoping to raise $10,000 to go to this amazing camp. Below I have listed some of the other community events that are in the works. If you or anyone you know would be willing to participate in or help organize any of these activities, please let me know so that I can begin making arrangements for them.

MARCH MADNESS CHANGE WARS AT CHS - MARCH 4 - 14, 2024 

RESTAURANT GIVE BACKS: 

MARCH MADNESS PIZZA HUT GIVE BACK NIGHT - MARCH 7TH - 4 PM - CLOSE @ PIZZA HUT 

CHICFILA FOOD TRUCK GIVE BACK - EVERY FRIDAY IN MARCH: 

- Every Friday in March during CHS lunch hour in the CHS parking lot - 

Looking for a great lunch? Chick-fil-A will be in the Cushing High School AG parking lot each Friday in March. They will donate 10% of their March sales to our project. Help us meet our goal for our March M.A.D.ness charity Make Promises Happen! #bettertogether #onceatigeralwaysatiger 

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT - MARCH 6:

MARCH MADNESS VOLLEYBALL EVENT - WED. MARCH 6TH - 6 PM @CMS WITH CONCESSIONS - 
$30 entry fee per team/teams needed 

CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS:
