Assistant Store Manager
Cushing, OK
Job Description:
Assist Store Manager in leading and managing a team to achieve and exceed goals for sales, profit, expenses, shrink, etc.
Lead in a way that creates an environment for your store to be a “GREAT PLACE TO WORK AND A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP”. See the company plan on how best to achieve this.
Assist Store Manager in merchandising the store to meet company guidelines that drive sales and build the brand.
Learn, teach, and execute our “ONE TEAM ONE DIRECTION” directives.
Manage company priorities such as safety, security, housekeeping, and facility maintenance.
Assist Store Manager in building your team through the company direction for recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, task management, mentoring, coaching and annual reviews.
Learn and apply knowledge on reviewing P & L’s sales reports, departmental sales reports, etc.
Assist store manager in operating within our existing processes and procedures including researching products in our inventory management system, POS, and scheduling to meet the budget and business needs.
Conduct price changes, signage requirements, ad setting and other in store pricing and marketing programs.
Model the right behavior on time and attendance, work ethic and tasks in general. 45 hrs. per week.
Be a team player and assist others within the company as needed with a positive attitude.
Communicate in a professional and respectful manner to both internal and external partners.
Follow the employee handbook guidelines.
Note: Job duties listed above may be changed as the business needs dictates. Teamwork and being flexible to take on new challenges and potentially relinquishing past responsibilities may be required.
Qualifications and educational requirements:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail management preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email)
Typing emails, letters and drafting pertinent business plans as necessary
Review reports such as P & L’s, sales/margin reports, merchandise reports, etc.

Retail Store Cashier

Description
An Atwoods retail store cashier is responsible for providing outstanding customer service through a variety of functions including but not limited to: cash handling, merchandising, promotional preparation, safety, assisting other departments, answering phone inquiries, general housekeeping, and assisting customers with purchases. In addition, they are integral in loss prevention and inventory integrity. This is a safety sensitive position.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to lift or move heavy merchandise-up to 50 lbs
- Math skills to count merchandise and for cash handling

Retail Store Loadout

Description
An Atwoods retail store loadout (material mover) is responsibility for accurately and properly loading merchandise into customer vehicles, unloading trucks and moving merchandise while insuring that store policies and standards are achieved. Quality customer care must be met on a consistent basis. This is a safety sensitive position, safety toe footwear is required.

Store Reset Team (traveling position)
Cushing, OK
Competitive pay based on experience. Full-time hours available most weeks.
Description
Travel to stores in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri and help the local stores get their new or just remodeled store ready for their grand opening.
These activities include stocking shelves, building and maintaining displays, communicating with store employees, and resetting products to current planograms.
Requirements
- Must have experience in a retail environment.
- Be a safety-first minded individual.
- Be able to communicate and work well with others.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable car with a good driving record. Mileage is paid.
- A smart phone or tablet (android or apple) preferred with internet access.
- Must be able to lift items weighting up to 50 pounds.
- Be responsible, honest, and trustworthy.
