Delivery Specialist

Responsibilities include: 

• Receiving and unloading shipments from suppliers
• Unpacking and if necessary assembling shipments received
• Making minor repairs to furniture and appliances
• Making timely deliveries to customers
• contacting customers before deliveries for confirmation of time and directions
• Cleaning used or repossessed furniture and appliances
• Maintaining delivery vehicles including filling vehicles with fuel; keeping break fluid, motor oil and antifreeze changed and filled; kepping vehicles clean and operable. preforming maintenance checks on vehicles before deliveries
• Driving delivery vehicles in a safe and lawful manner 
• keeping inventory displayed inside store and in front of store
• Cleaning the store including, but not limited to, sweeping floors and sidewalk, washing windows, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and buffing floors
• Hauling off cardboard and old appliances, mattresses, furniture
• Being courteous and helpful to customers and fellow employees. The delivery is the final contact with customer and often the lasting impression of the store. 

Delivery Driver must:

1. Have a valid Oklahoma driver's license.

2. Be over 18 years of age.

3. Pass a drug & background screen

4. Be capable of lifting over 100 pounds consistently. 

5. Be DEPENDABLE!
