🔴CNC Operator / Programmer
We are looking to hire a skilled CNC programmer to operate and maintain our CNC equipment. As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
To ensure success as a CNC Programmer, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised. Ultimately, a top-class CNC programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the prints given.
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
Coordinate with purchasing to ensure inventory of raw materials and tools to stay at maximum production. 
Create and implement routine maintenance checklist, also performing basic troubleshooting. 
Parodically check each machine to make sure the positioning of drills, mills, and lathes stay perfectly aligned. 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES KNOWLEDGE OF:
Adjusting and setting drills, mills, and lathes to ensure 100 percent accuracy. Knowledge of safety standards to avoid workplace accidents. Knowledge of CAD and PDM software. Schematics, Machining, CNC lathe
ABILITY TO:
Read blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines based on specifications. Use computer software to create the design of parts and tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to work independently and stick to a deadline. Ability to work after-hours when required. Ability to stand for extended periods.
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
CNC programming certificate, 
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE
3 years experience programming and running Doosan and Haas lathe. Extensive experience with computer modeling software. Previous work experience as a CNC programmer. Experience with precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers. 
PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a position. Lift 50lbs, work in warehouse environment subject to above and below average temperatures. Ability to stand for long periods.
