THEME: "THERE'S GNOME PLACE LIKE CUSHING FOR CHRISTMAS" 

TIME: 6 PM SHARP START OF PARADE

LOCATION: IN THE BROADWAY DISTRICT ON BROADWAY STREET, HEADING EAST FROM DEPOT STREET TO STEELE AVE.

PARADE ENTRY COST: FREE!

IT'S TIME TO SUBMIT YOUR 2022 CUSHING CHAMBER CHRISTMAS PARADE ENTRIES! 

Let's see your favorite Christmas Gnome!  Theme is suggestive; you can do whatever you want with your parade entry! Except, of course, have Santa in your entry; we have already contacted the North Pole and have him BOOKED. Mrs. Claus even called us to confirm.  Sorry! 🤶🎅

Santa Trophies are UP FOR GRABS!  There will be 1st & 2nd place trophies for rolling entries; 1st and 2nd place trophies for walking entries; the majestic Mayor's Choice Santa Trophy; and the Fabulous Chamber Santa Trophy!  

The Grand Marshall of the 2022 Christmas Parade will be announced SOON so stay tuned for that announcement in the coming weeks! 

Please fill out the forms and submit. You can fill it out here on this event calendar page through the below; download and print a hard copy through the link, below; or pick up a hard copy in our front foyer that is open 24/7; or call us to email you the forms at 918-225-2400. 

PARADE ROUTE: 

The parade will start at Central Ave. and go east to Steele Ave. on Broadway Street in the Broadway District.

CANDY BAG DONATIONS OPEN (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC):

Due to the parade entries NOT being able to toss nor hand out candy during the parade route, the Cushing Chamber makes candy bags for the public. These candy bags will be handed out to the crowd from 5 pm - 6 pm. There will be a sticker on the front of the bags with a list of the businesses and people that donate candy for the bags & listed on this parade event page.  We also announce all candy donors on stage before & during the parade.  ANYONE can donate candy; you do not have to be a Member of the Cushing Chamber in order to donate candy.  We make over 4,000 candy bags to hand out to the public before the parade starts; we need LOTS OF CANDY PLEASE!!  

PLEASE DROP OFF DONATED CANDY OR DONATIONS FOR CANDY PURCHASES TO THE CUSHING CHAMBER OFFICE NO LATER THAN DEC. 7 AT 5 PM!  WE WILL START STUFFING CANDY BAGS ON DEC. 8!  

VOLUNTEER ELVES & GNOMES NEEDED TO PASS OUT CANDY BAGS BEFORE THE PARADE:

VOLUNTEER CHRISTMAS ELVES & GNOMES FROM THE NORTH POLE NEEDED TO HELP HAND OUT CANDY BAGS 5 PM - 6 PM! Call the Cushing Chamber office at 918-225-2400 to sign yourself and/or your group to volunteer!  This is an amazing opportunity to interact and have some fun with the public, waiting for the parade to start!  Wear your businesses' logo shirts or Church Group shirts!

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8 - CHRISTMAS ON CLEVELAND STREET- Enjoy lots of sales & specials; Choraliers; special events happening in the Broadway District Cleveland Street businesses!  Watch our Event Calendar for updates on this Inaugural "Christmas On Cleveland" Event! 

THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY DECEMBER 8, 9, 10 - #SmallBusinessSeason "JINGLE BELL DAYS"!  Throughout Cushing, Businesses will be having specials; sales; giveaways; and so much more!  Updates are coming; be sure to watch Facebook and Instagram for your favorite local small business pages for when they announce what they will be doing during CUSHING "JINGLE BELL DAYS"! 

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10 - Broadway District Christmas!   

Broadway District businesses will have snacks; drinks; and lots of fun things going on all day in their businesses/stores, leading up to the time of the Christmas Parade!  

1. Arrive in the Broadway District EARLY Saturday, Dec. 10; have lunch at Godofredo's or Pueblo Viejo; 
2. Grab a Coffee at Silvertown Espress to keep your energy where it needs to be.. THROUGH THE ROOF for this kind of #SmallBizSeason Shopping!
3. Go door to door Christmas Shopping at all of the businesses in the Broadway District; 
4. Be at Centinnial park at 5 pm SHARP to watch the lighting of the Christmas Tree; 
5. listen to the choraliers sing some of the great Christmas Song classics; 
6. then enjoy our 2022 Annual Christmas Parade!  
7. Don't forget dinner afterwards at one of our amazing restaurants!  Or, grab a movie at the Dunkin Theatre after the parade.  There's SO much to do in the Broadway District

❄Our friends with the magic Christmas light wands will be walking around on Broadway St. before the parade starts...Make sure you get your special MAGIC Christmas Light Wands this year!  

❄Free Candy bags from our donors will be passed out to the crowd of parade spectators starting at 5 pm..And these candy bags are LOADED with Chocolate, candy canes, and TONS of yummy treats for you to have while you watch the parade!  Look for our volunteer elves walking up and down Broadway St. to get yours!
