CUSHING CHAMBER TOMORROW'S LEADERS COMMITTEE & SPONSORSHIP INFORMATION

WHO CAN BE ON THE TL COMMITTEE?  The TL Committee is open to any owner or their staff of a Cushing Chamber Member Partner business in good standing.  If you and/or your staff would be interested in being on the TL Committee, please register to attend this committee meeting.  There are only 3 - 4 committee meetings a year.  Committee members are expected to help fundraise for the TL program sessions and to attend 1 or more of the sessions with the TL participants.  

WHAT DOES THE COMMITTEE DO?
We will be planning the Tomorrow's Leaders (TL) Program sessions at this committee meeting and discussing sponsorships for the sessions, speakers, breakfast and lunch for the students, etc.

WHAT IS THE TOMORROW'S LEADERS PROGRAM?
The Cushing Chamber Tomorrow's Leaders Program is the Chamber's Youth Leadership Development Program and is for select Juniors at Cushing High School who, in the spring of their sophomore year, applied for the program and the top 15 who scored the highest in a blind judging were awarded a spot in the Cushing Chamber Tomorrow's Leaders program during the the Fall Semester of their Junior year.  

The participants will attend 4 - 5 sessions that all involve some type of leadership training.  For more information, please see our Tomorrow's Leaders Program website event page, Link below.

SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE: 
Sponsorships are available and range from helping with Breakfast, lunch, and snacks during sessions; speakers for sessions; and Tomorrow's Leaders t-shirts that are designed with a Leadership quote on the back of them for all TL participants.

 
SCHOLARSHIP SPONSORSHIPS AVAILABLE:  If enough sponsorships are gathered, the committee would like to present scholarships for one to two Tomorrow's Leaders participants each year, if the scholarship sponsorships are picked up by a business.  We would also like to get the TL participants other items with the Cushing Chamber Tomorrow's Leaders logo on them, such as leather bound notepads for them to use during their sessions and other types of swag items. 

The Tomorrow's Leaders Program is exceptional to have on College and Trade School applications and scholarship applications, not to mention the guidance this program gives the Junior Students with their leadership development.
