
American Legion Post 108 Vietnam War 50th Anniversary Commemoration

Walker-Donaldson American Legion Post 108 is hosting a 50th Anniversary Commemoration Observance of the end of the Vietnam War.
When: March 29, 2025 - Noon to 4 PM
Where: 214 S. Noble St. Cushing, OK 74023
Post 108 encourages ALL Veterans, Parents, Children, Grandchildren, or any relative of any Veteran to attend.
We will have activities including:
- Flag Posting
- Taps
- Walk of Honor
- Video, Speaker
- POW/Military Items Tables
- FREE Hotdogs and Hamburgers.
Post 108 will have information related to Vietnam, and information from those who served in the Vietnam War Era. There will be an opening flag ceremony, display of Vietnam War memorabilia from Post 108 Veterans, and picnic food.
Those men and women who served were 10% of their generation. They include 6 million veterans and 9 million plus family members. There are 58,318 names on the wall, including 9 men from the Cushing and Drumright listed as KIA (Killed In Action).
Our men and women wish to share their time and history with the community. These veterans have signed on the bottom line to serve our country up to and including giving their life to protect you and me. Our service men and women still do this to this day.
