GAIN SHORT AND LONG-TERM INSIGHT FROM OUR KEY COMMUNITY PILLARS IN ORDER TO BUILD A BETTER BUSINESS COMMUNITY.

The Cushing Chamber Annual State of Cushing Economic Summit (formerly the State of the City, County, & Schools) is vital for local and surrounding area businesses to be updated on. Each respective area, City of Cushing, Cushing Economic Development Foundation, Payne County, and Cushing Public Schools, will identify their current and future economic states, impact and non-impact areas, 2025 projects that will grow or hinder their economic state by the end of the year, and much more information. This allows businesses to be able to gauge how they should run their own businesses for the upcoming year.

Knowing the present and future Economic state of the city, economic development foundation, county, and local school system is imperative for businesses to be able to forecast local and surrounding area business development and existing business growth goals in order to forecast how and what to invest in for their own businesses. This includes small businesses all the way to huge corporations; understanding and knowing where the city, economic development, county, and schools are economically, if they are investing or holding back this year, predicting a growth or deficit throughout the year, what they are investing in, projects for 2025/2026, etc., are all vital pieces of information to knowing the direction to move your own business.

  • B.J. Roberson, Commission Board Chair - City of Cushing Govt.
