CUSHING CHAMBER TOMORROW'S LEADERS COMMITTEE MEETING
APRIL 11, 2024
NOON - 12:30/1 PM

Registration REQUIRED - Lunch will be provided to all committee members, courtesy of Cushing Chamber - We will be getting lunch from Steer Inn; please put on your online registration if you have any dietary restrictions and/or allergies.  We will do a special order for you if so.  

Our Tomorrow's Leaders Committee will be starting to organize the 2024 Tomorrow's Leaders Program, that will begin for the selected CHS Juniors in the Fall of 2024.  If you are interested in being a part of the TL Committee, please make plans to attend this committee meeting by registering.  

• The Tomorrow's Leaders Committee has a committee meeting in the Spring to start organizing the TL program.  
• Get Date set for Sophomore Class TL Assembly in April 
• Get TL Applications ready for the Sophomore class to fill out - Mrs. Puls disperses the applications to the sophomore class in early April with a due date two to three weeks later.  Then the Committee will blind judge the applications that also have essays and reference letters from teachers.  The TL committee blind judges the applications and puts each portion of the application into a matrix count.  The matrix is added up and the top 15 applicants are accepted into the Cushing Chamber Tomorrow's Leaders Program that starts in the Fall of their Junior Year. 
• Set/Discuss the 4 - 5 TL sessions that the TL participants will have next Fall, that will be outlined in the Tomorrow's Leaders brochure that will be sent out to the Sophomore students' parents before the TL Sophomore Assembly.  There is also a parent letter.  This helps to let the parents know about the Cushing Chamber Tomorrow's leaders Program and to talk to their student about it, encourage them to apply, etc.  The CCoC TL program is a Youth Leadership Program through the Cushing Chamber.  Students learn team building, Leadership development, professional development, and much more in their 4 - 5 sessions.  

Committee members will have another Committee meeting in late July/early August to start planning the 4 - 5 TL sessions.  Committee members also attend sessions, in a "divide and conquer" style; Committee members choose which sessions they can attend.

To join the Tomorrow's Leaders Committee, please register for this committee meeting.  This Commitee is only open to Cushing Chamber Member Partners only.  Businesses that are not a Member Partner of the Cushing Chamber are ineligible.
