A little bit about Jerad. Jerad is a 49 year old father of 6 and Papa of 2, who was diagnosed in February of this year with Catastrophic Heart Failure. It's an inherited disease. His mother lost her battle with it in 1997 at the age of 48. Jerad had a heart pump installed in March and is being put on the heart transplant list. He is the sole provider for his family and has worked his tail off since he was 17 years old. He is a welder by profession, and has been a supervisor, building storage tanks across the United States for over 20 years. With the heart pump, he is no longer able to weld or even be within 10 foot of a welding machine. We are hoping this benefit will bring a huge crowd and I pray people's generosity will help this family during this most difficult time. The benefit will be held at the Cushing Elks Lodge on July 25th, starting at noon. There will be a cornhole tournament, live music, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle.
