Cushing Polar Plunge

Special Olympics Oklahoma invites you to participate in the coolest event of the winter! The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, businesses, and organizations to take a jump into freezing cold water to help raise awareness for Special Olympics. Each participant collects pledges from family, friends and businesses in the hopes of raising money to support over 12,100 Special Olympics athletes in Oklahoma.

Ready to make a splash? Each plunger must raise a minimum of $75 to take the Plunge into freezing cold water. Raise more money for other great prizes!

Drumright Dental Center's vision is for every special needs patient to have a dental home that is able to make them comfortable and give them the care they deserve. DDC partners with Special Olympics Oklahoma every year to help fund the summer games for all the athletes. 

To raise money this year, DDC is co-hosting the 2nd Annual “Freezin’ For A Reason” Polar Plunge with Godofredo’s Pizzeria & Tap Room in downtown Cushing on March 2nd. Following the Polar Plunge will be a comedy night with Chad Prather at The Dunkin Theatre! 

If you would like to participate in the plunge you may jump as a team or individually. If you choose to do so you can donate to SOOK through the attached link; corporate sponsorships are also available and businesses will receive advertisements through DDC and Godofredo's.
