REPUBLIC SERVICES & CITY OF CUSHING SPRING CLEAN-UP WEEK
MAY 13 - 18, 2024
- REPUBLIC SERVICES & CITY OF CUSHING Are partnering together to offer a bulk clean-up week. In order to help make the event successful, please remember the following:
- All bulk piles must be less than 4 ft. x 4 ft. Piles larger than this will NOT be picked up
- Bulk items must be bagged, in boxes, or other containers. Lose debris will not be picked up.
- Brush should be cut into 4-foot lengths, tied, and bundled. Bundles should not weigh over 50 lbs.
- No mattresses will be picked up curbside.
- No construction or demolition material will be picked up curbside.
- Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners are accepted at the transfer station only, provided the Freon has been properly drained by the qualified technician, with a certification issued and placed on the unit.
- No hazardous waste will be picked up curbside or collected at the transfer station.
Spring Clean Up 2024 - Starts Monday, May 13 through Saturday, May 18, 2024
The Republic Convenience Center, 515 N. Luella Street, will be open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Saturday, where residents can dispose for free. Please present a copy of your utility bill, which can be a digital copy, before you dispose of rubbish.
There will will also be curbside collection on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Residents are encouraged to have their rubbish at the curb by Friday at 5:00 p.m. There are restrictions for curbside collection so be sure and check those out so your rubbish doesn't get left on the curb!
This a great time to clean up around the house. Please consider helping your neighbor if you are able!
