The Server at our Diners play an integral role in ensuring our guests have exceptional dining experiences. The right person will be passionate about food and service, and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition, and the ability to learn all duties such as serving, cash and credit card processing, cleaning tables and counters, answering the phone, and greeting guests, in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting.
The primary purpose of the work is to provide a pleasant experience, quality food and beverages to guests. This work contributes to the satisfaction of the guests and promotes a positive image for Boomarang Diners.
Our servers possess exceptional guest service skills, as well as a solid understanding of food handling regulations. Food servers will greet guests and welcome their questions regarding the menu and available specials.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Responsible for taking care of all guest.
- Greet guests warmly and genuinely.
- Treat every guest as a guest in your own home.
- Contact is face-to-face with guests from all walks of life.

- Servers must accurately take food and beverage orders, and enter them into our system in a timely fashion.

The Cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the Diner menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Our cooks will prepare the food, clean, assist other cooks and staff, and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work will include operating a grill, fryer, microwave, other kitchen equipment, and utensils.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Treat every guest as a guest in your own home.
- Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
- Maintain backup supplies.
- Preparing food items for the shift.
- Preparing utensils, fryers and grill for shift.
- Receiving orders from waitstaff on handwritten tickets, or computerized system.
- Memorize our menu.
- Cooks must accurately prepare food orders as stated in training material.
- Cooks must accurately plate food orders as stated in training material.
- Cook food orders according to health and safety standards.
- Handle multiple food orders at one time.
- Monitor multiple food orders as new orders arrive.
- Ensure each guest order has the correct food and sides.
- Delivering food order to waitstaff in a timely manner.
- Store all food properly.
- Sanitize and clean work stations and utensils.
- Assist other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed.
- Comply with health regulations.
- Maintain regular cleaning standards and sanitation levels.
