Central Tech Cafe is Hiring!!

*The Nest operates during the Central Tech school year and is not a Central Tech employment position.

The tables are empty today, but it won't be long before The Nest is serving students, staff, and campus visitors again. 

As we get ready for the school year to begin, The Nest on the Drumright campus is looking for a dependable, customer-focused team member to assist with food preparation, cooking, and customer service. This position follows the Central Tech school calendar and is open on school days only.

Cook / Customer Service Team Member

Pay: $10-$15 per hour  

Hours: 8a-3p (hours may vary based on business needs)

Duties may include:

* Preparing and cooking food orders while maintaining quality standards

* Food preparation and portioning

* Cooking on the grill

* Operating the fry station

* Dressing menu items to order

* Packaging menu items and ensuring product quality and consistency

* Providing friendly customer service

* Cleaning duties, including:

  * Trash disposal

  * Mopping and sweeping

  * Washing dishes

  * Wiping countertops

  * Sanitizing food preparation and service areas

Qualifications:

* General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not required

* Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing business needs

* Effective communication skills

* Basic math and reading skills

* Ability to follow directions

* Willingness to follow appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
