Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a motivated, dependable, and guest-focused Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to grow their career with IHG.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure exceptional guest experiences while leading daily hotel operations and supporting all departments.

Days-Evenings-Overnights. Weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the hotel.
• Lead and support Front Desk, Housekeeping, Breakfast, and Maintenance teams.
• Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Prepare employee schedules and ensure proper staffing levels.
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure brand standards are met.
• Help manage hotel revenue, expenses, and labor costs.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and company policies.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and cover shifts when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience required.
• Supervisory or management experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and lead by example.
• Proficient with computers and hotel management systems (HotelKey and IHG systems are a plus).
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
