Job Summary:
Linwood Village is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team on the night shift at our 67-bed rural long-term care and skilled nursing facility. The CMA will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by accurately administering medications, monitoring their health, and ensuring their comfort during the night hours. This is a critical position, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for improving the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents as per physician orders and facility protocols, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with all regulations.
- Monitor residents for any side effects or reactions to medications and report any concerns to the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
- Assist in the preparation and management of medication carts, ensuring all medications are stored securely and maintained according to safety standards.
- Provide general support to residents by assisting with personal care needs, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, when necessary.
- Respond to resident calls and requests promptly and compassionately.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support individualized care plans.
- Observe and document changes in resident conditions, reporting any concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines regarding resident information.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, following all infection control protocols.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties when needed, including maintaining cleanliness of medication storage areas and resident rooms.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid state certification to administer medications in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Previous experience working in a long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong understanding of medication administration, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude toward residents.
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to our residents as part of our Night Shift staff. The LPN/RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs, physical and emotional status, and response to treatments.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with registered nurses and other healthcare providers.
- Perform routine assessments and report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure proper infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and problem-solving.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited LPN/RN program.
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred, but not required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and assisting patients.
