Root's Hometown Furniture and Appliances is currently seeking a Collections/Credit Manager.

No experience needed. Please apply at Root's Hometown Furniture and Appliances 2304 East Main Street in Cushing. Whomever is hired for this position will be required to work every Saturday.

Collections/Credit Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting on bad debt, overdue, accounts receivable
• Locating and contacting past-due customers
• Filing small claims court actions, contacting process server, representing store at small claims court
• Arranging for repossession of goods
• Filing garnishments in court with employers
• Assisting in collection of accounts receivable 
• Calling and mailing appropriate letters to past-due accounts
• Assisting with sales & greeting customers
• Taking customer credit applications and running it through the credit bureau
• Writing invoices for sales and receiving down payments
• Ensuring customer contact information is kept up to date
• Keeping special order book up to date and contacting customers when special orders arrive
• Working with customers to resolve any issues
• Cleaning the store including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, and cleaning windows and doors
• Cleaning the bathroom
• Being courteous and helpful to customers and fellow employees
• Covering for the store manager/office manager when absent.

Credit/Collections Manager Must:

1. Have a Valid Oklahoma Driver's License 
2. Be over 18 years of age
3. Pass a drug and background screen. 
4. BE DEPENDABLE!!

 This is a full time position, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. We do pay hourly + commission & bonuses. The starting hourly wage is based on experience. We offer health insurance, 401K 7 paid vacations after the 1st year of full time employment.
