Ever wondered who your ancestors were, where did they come from?  Well, come and find out!  FREE Family History Classes.  

This class on "Basic Genealogy or Genealogy 101" is a 4-part class on How to Get Started.  This class is required to take before most of the Advanced classes offered, and is being held on two separate Saturday's (Part 1 & 2 on July 27 and parts 3 & 4 on August 10, 2024).  Due to class in excess of 8 the classes will be held at the Cushing Chamber of Commerce, located at 1301 E. Main St. in Cushing, just west of Braum's.  All attendees must be signed up at least 4 days prior to class, so sufficient handouts may be prepared. 

When:  Beginning July 27 at 10 am with a 1 - 1 1/2 hour class, a 30 minute break, followed by a second 1 - 1 1/2 hour class.  The remaining 2 classes are completed with the same schedule times on Aug. 10.  

Where:  Cushing Chamber of Commerce located at 1301 E. Main St. Cushing, OK - Please enter through the door on the west side of the building. 

What do I need:  You will need pencil and paper, a lap top or iPad to access the internet.

The classroom door will be open at 9:30 am for your convenience to set-up.  Please come early enough to be set-up so the class can begin on time.  NOTE:  The Instructor will not be able to start over for you and the beginning of most of the classes are especially important.
